How Do I Transfer Hours to Local 49?

If you are working outside of Local 49’s jurisdiction and need to have your contributions transferred back, you must complete a Request and Authorization for Transfer of Contributions form, also known as a Reciprocity Agreement form.

Follow the steps below to have your contributions sent to the appropriate Fund.

It is important to document all hours worked to ensure that the correct amount of hours have been appropriately transferred. Note: We strongly recommend that you keep a written document of your hours on paper. Many members keep track of their hours on their cellphones, and we’ve had instances where the phones crash, and all information is lost.
